I was born and raised in New Zealand. I completed a degree in fine arts before arriving in America as a young woman and beginning my first career as a screenwriter. During these 25 years of working in the film industry I wrote many projects requiring research and interviews into a person’s life. No matter whether fictional or biographical, creating a story that conveyed character, meaning, and drama was my first love.
I also developed an interest in memoir and eventually created a system to lead workshops in writing the inner landscape. At mid-life my interests moved from outer cultural stories in the film industry, into the deeper stories of each individual journey. Soon personal conflicts in my own journey surfaced, leading me into a study of the work of C. G. Jung. I entered Jungian analysis and this lead quite naturally into Mythological Studies, counseling psychology, and finally into a formal six-year training program at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California.
Through all of this, as I observed my story and the stories of others, I gained experience in understanding the unconscious process through the study and analysis of dreams and how this brings healing and understanding.
I live and work in Ojai, CA. I work one-on-one in person and on Skype.
